October Bike Hash - Cold Ashton, Thatcham

Nearest train station is Thatcham, which is on the London/Reading - Newburyline. Trains run twice an hour. It is about 3 miles away, although note it is up hill to Cold Ash! People will need to make their own way from the station to the pub. It won't be marked.

Please could people park up at Cold Ash village hall and cycle down to the pub as the pub have requested this. The car park is 200m past the pub at the top of the hill next to the park, and sign posted "Parish council offices"

The ride is 15-20 miles along various pleasant Berkshire byways and bridleways.

While the pub is open all day, the kitchen closes at 14.15. If anyone is worried about missing this deadline, the pub said that people can pre-order cold food (bagettes etc) on the day before we leave on the ride. They will prepare this and put it in the fridge for when people get back.
