The nearest station is Ealing broadway about a 3-4 min ride. Easy. Do it. The Overground comes into to Acton Central that is 10-12min ride if that suits.There will not be a P trail from the stations.

By car is possible but pointless as we finish at the pub! Read between the lines. But if you persist in being stupid and drive, use your sat nav to guide you there. Parking, if you can find it, is possible and free in the portion of Warwick Road opposite the pub that extends into Ealing Common. Other street parking in the area is available, but you will need to read the signs to see. It is Ealing in London and parking inspectors are likely to be about. There is no pub car park.

Break the monotony of post xmas/pre-new year in house family torture!

Two & a half hours of urban mountain biking around areas of west London. There may be a port and mince pie stop weather permiting.

Despite the urban tag, this will be a mountain bike ride. Bring a bike with robust tyres for off roading. Youll need it. Spare tubes are a good idea.

Bring some warm clean clothes and shoes for the pub afterwards. The pub has a garden at the back we can bring the bikes into, but very accessible off the street.  We should have good visibility from within the pub to keep an eye on bikes. It is strongly advisable use a good quality lock. Some lights are a good idea to get safely home or back to the station.
